Her Goodbyes to this Disguise

One day I'll set myself free
for everyone, the world to see.
I'll burst out from this mask,
despite how large the task.
So heres to the end of lies,
as I say goodbye to this disguise:
Afraid of judgment in their eye
she decided to be herself on the sly.
Under the mascara, so much more,
A girl whos had glasses, since age four.
Behind a magazine, "4 eyes" covers
her books of adventure, mystery and lovers.
When everyone went to the salon to tan,
that’s when she pulled out her ipod and ran.
Dresses are tight and heels high,
but really, she just wants a nice guy.
They told her music was for dancing on the pole,
but at home she relaxes, lets it fill her soul.
At a party she may be someone hot,
in the morning it's no lie that she's not.
But the truth is, that’s when shes gorgeous.
When shes her natural self, not someone bogus.
Because she actually is someone real,
its just easier to watch, then control the wheel.
